Overview

The SPC system can provide support for 2,500 users who can be provided with both intrusion and access rights. The nature of the architecture of SPC lends itself to a scalable system.  The basic building block is a single SPC controller and a door controller, this will contain the logic to offer customers the full range of access and intrusion functionality. The system can then be scaled by adding additional controllers. When the system reaches the limit of a single control multiple controllers can be grouped together to form larger system groups. Each SPC Controller is IP enabled and provides a secure AES256 bit CBC (VPN like) connection to remote management systems including the SPC Connect cloud service. This service allows customers to remotely manage their system and provide remote access to configuration and control functions

SPC Access features

  • Hybrid Intrusion access rights
  • Adaptive access rights
  • Time and Date configuration
  • Door configuration and customisation
  • Emergency Integration
  • Custom configuration and programming options
  • up to 32 entry exit doors
  • up to 2,500 users
  • Arm disarm intrusion system from access engine
Define rights

SPC allows for up to 5 profiles per user, users can be quickly defined with predefined access levels allowing for instant access, this model also allows for a complex definition of rights, with permissions varying by time of day, area, system state, and conditions.

Monitored

Using the SPC communications systems and SPC cloud the system can be continuously monitored and controlled remotely, the SPC mobile app allows for the remote control of doors with the SPC cloud allowing for the remote configuration of users and permissions.

Intrusion Intergration

With Security and intrusion at its core SPC access system interacts with intrusion system to ensure security, the ability to have complete control of users intrusion and access rights within a single system. With SPC intrusion integration the access functionality can be used to control and interact with the intrusion system.

Compatible readers

The SPC door controllers are designed to support a wide range of readers with over 70+ variants of Wiegand and Clock and data interface. This means that SPC can support Vanderbilt readers and also readers from other major manufacturers.

Arm disarm from your access reader

  • Definable per door
  • Control by time of day
  • Arming confirmation
  • Hybrid access and intrusion rights
  • Emergency Integration

Extend access time

Allow additional time for users to gain entry through doors based on the users card

  • Definable per door
  • Definable per card

  • Definable per card

Interlock doors

Control and restrict access by only allowing one door to open at a time, the interlocking functionality ensures that only one door can open at a time.

  • Definable doors into groups
  • Control by time of day or always active
  • Emergency override

Anti passback

Control and restrict access by only allowing a card to gain entry to an area once until the card leaves the area.

  • Definable door groups
  • Control by time of day or always active

Anti-passback operates by allowing entry and once the door is opened the user is inside the door group until the user leaves the door group the user access will be denied.

SPCA210.100

The SPCA210.100 2-door expander extends the SPC controller with advanced door control functionality for 2 entry doors or 1 entry/exit door. The device features 2 Wiegand/Clock&Data interfaces, 4 LED control outputs (1 void / valid per reader), 4 zones (1 position- and 1 opening switch per door), 2 relay outputs (1 lock per door) and an onboard buzzer to signal “door open too long” events. To allow the greatest flexibility, the zones and outputs are freely programmable for other purposes if not used for door control. Up to 512 priority card holders can be stored on the expander for standalone operation in case of communication loss to the control panel. The expander comes in a plastic housing with front tamper protection and features also an X-BUS status LED and onboard buzzer for easy device identification and extensive self-diagnostic capabilities.
